With regard to the comment about the rear tie down hooks, I'm considering moving the rear ones to the floor of the bed near tailgate. I'm assuming the swing out arm and mounting bracket are steel? I will have a shell on my truck, but after reading the posts about warping, if/when it occurs, I'm considering removing the plastic boxes, mounting large ammo cans to the brackets and fabricate them to fit over the wheel well (I weld and fabricate as a weekend hobby).
